COVID-19

I write a lot of essays that don’t fit neatly into any of the categories on this site. Mostly they are personal reflections on either my life or the events and times I have observed. Some are about my years as a “Deadhead” when I was obsessed with Jerry Garcia and the band, some come from my observations of what was happening in our country in the late 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and some are just reflections on where we are today and how we got there. The essays regarding COVID-19 are made of the very same stuff. Sure, they’re written by a man that spent decades dealing with data, the reliability of that data, and the risks & probabilities related to it- but those essays are just reflections of how I (and collaborators) parse and deal with this pandemic.
